David Bowie: Five Years box set

This spans the years 1969-1973 and the CD boxed set has little mini-gatefold covers, printed sleeves, and the CDs come in bags. Box itself is sturdy and shiny. 12 CDs. Very shiny, so it gets points for that. There is a vinyl version but it costs $250, so yeah, no fucking way. Not even for Bowie.

Revisiting Sad Satan’s imagery

In my last post, I discussed the game Sad Satan, which was rumored to come from the deep web. Obscure Horror Channel on YouTube uploaded five videos of gameplay with no commentary. An article was published on Kotaku. After that, it gained some notoriety. Most recently, popular YouTuber Pewdiepie made a playthrough of it. No [...]

I am Divine

I am Divine was directed by Jeffrey Schwarz and largely crowd-funded (I donated, so my name is in the very end credits as a “shitkicker”). I was concerned it wouldn’t be much different than previous documentaries on Divine, but this one really does have a lot of nice older footage, interesting interviews, and information people [...]

Kojima and a Silent Hill reboot?

RelyonHorror recently posted an article about Hideo Kojima being asked a fan question about what series he would like to reboot. He responded, “Silent Hill.” Bear in mind that this is not the same thing as Kojima announcing that he will work on the series, just that he’d like to. (I mention this because some [...]

DMT: The Spirit Molecule

This could have been good. I mean, it was enjoyable, but it’s too problematic to call it “good” because the people in charge are not being scientific. Apparently they did drug experiments with DMT in the ’90s, and they had a small group, it was in a hospital setting. The person would be injected, sit [...]

Tale of Tales is an independent game development studio based in Belgium and founded by Auriea Harvey and Michaël Samyn. They’ve existed as Tale of Tales since 2002. Bone Fragments interview

Greetings and thanks for doing the interview! Could you introduce the band a bit, who does what, etc? Bone Fragments is a two-person band, formed in 2006 by Sassafras and Tormentor. We started Bone Fragments as a convergence between black metal and dark circus music. Sassafras is really the musical creator behind Bone Fragments. He [...]
